Where curiosity takes root and every learner becomes a grower.

Growing minds.

One seed at a time.

Where curiosity takes root and every learner becomes a grower.

At America Way Seed & Soil Co., we believe education belongs in the garden. Our Grow & Learn programs invite children, families, schools, and community organizations to get their hands in the soil, meet our resident educators, and discover that growing food is one of the most joyful things a person can do.

No experience required. Just be curious.

Meet the team.

Every great garden has great teachers. Ours happen to be worms.

YOUR GUIDES TO THE GARDEN

Professor Wigglesworth

Director of Bean Adoption & Youth Development

Professor Wigglesworth has dedicated his life to one mission: making sure every bean finds a loving home. Equal parts educator, encourager, and bow-tie enthusiast, the Professor leads our beloved Adopt a Bean Program where young growers take home a bean variety, a certificate, and a whole lot of responsibility.

He believes every bean has potential. You just have to help it grow.

Waylon Worm

Chief Soil Officer, Compost Factory

Waylon runs the most important operation on the farm — the Compost Factory, where food scraps, leaves, and love get transformed into the richest soil you've ever seen. As Chief Soil Officer, Waylon leads our Factory Tours, introducing curious visitors to the underground world that makes everything above ground possible.

He turns scraps into superpowers. Daily.

It's biology, ecology, and pure magic — all in one raised bed.
